Lisa Bickford (InReach Internet)
Ms. Bickford , President of InReach Internet, joined InReach in 1999 as the General Manager. She was appointed President and Chief Operating Officer in June of 2002. Ms. Bickford was formerly with Bay Alarm Company working on technology, administration, and management. Her fields of expertise include telecommunication, data communications, network design and implementation, and managing complex computing environments. Her past experience includes managing service and support departments, call center operations, and computing professionals in a 24/7 security environment, as well as development and implementation of technology solutions. Ms. Bickford holds a Master's Degree in Business from University of the Pacific and a B.A. in Liberal Studies from California State University, Hayward.
Bob Brentnall (South Valley Internet)
Bob Brentnall is CEO and President of South Valley Internet, headquartered in San Martin, CA. Founded in 1994, South Valley Internet (www.garlic.com) is one of the oldest continuously operated ISP's in California. Bob started his career as a U.S. Air Force pilot, then served as an airline pilot with Northwest Airlines for more than 30 years. South Valley Internet provides dial up, wireless and DSL services to residential and business customers primarily in Santa Clara, San Benito, Santa Clara, Monterey, Merced and Madera counties. South Valley began offering wireless broadband Internet access in 1995, one of the first wireless ISP's in California.
W. Mark Esser (Markon Computer Science), Chairman of the Board
W. Mark Esser is the President and CEO of Markon Computer Science Inc. in Lomita, Ca. Markon Computer Science Inc. was founded in 1983 as a computer design and maintenance company. After many years in the service industry, Markon Computer Science Inc. entered into the ISP market in 1992 in order to facilitate the needs of its customers, which were having difficulty gaining and maintaining Internet access. Mark serves not only as a member of the Board of Directors of CISPA, but also as CISPA's Vice President of Wireless Broadband Technologies. He actively works on the 802.11 a/b/g/ and now 802.11n committees and is actively working on extreme high speed Internet working system using Microwave, Ethernet over Power Lines, Free Space optics, and Ethernet over the Standing Wave of Earth Ground. Mark received his degrees from California State University, Long Beach and did his graduate work at Concordia, St Louis, MO.
Andy Main (Shasta.com)
Andy Main is the owner of Shasta.com, a Redding , California Internet Service Provider. Shasta.com was started in January of 1995 and current ownership has been in place since January of 1997. Andy holds a degree in Computer Science from the University of California at Berkeley and a Masters degree in Business from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Andy’s area of expertise is developing web applications for business. Shasta.com services the north state area specifically Redding and Shasta county with Dial up, DSL, Wireless, Hosting and VoIP services and has an active web site development business. His passions include mountain climbing and tennis. Andy volunteer activities include church, Rotary and helping local organizations with their web sites
